What catches my eye in this photo is the dramatic use of colours.

It is an extremely well coloured photo, and the exposure is just perfect.

Composition-wise it seems that the horizon is exactly in the middle. Looking how much detail there is on the beach and in the sky I wouldn't consider that very disturbing.

A small thing that I notice is that the horizon seems to be leaning to the right a tiny bit. But that is a quick fix.

It is nice to see short exposure-time photos of the beach as well, it makes it more unique to the overused long-exposure beaches and harbours.

An overall great piece with great detail and lovely colours, very well done!

The first thing that catches my attention in this photo is how the sky is reflected from the sand, and how the detail in the sand adds to this 'reflected image'.
The sky itself is just as eye-catching, I really like how the clouds in some places appear to be soft and wispy and in others bolder and thicker.
The golden-yellow of the sunset contrasts to the blue sky, making the image stand out. The sharp focus of the sand is great, but then so is the softer appearance of the sky in comparison.

I like how the sun is only partle visible through the clouds and also how it's light falls onto the rocks in the forground. The shadows that are cast are very rich and are surrounded by a golden reflection that not only brings out, but includes detail in itself.
The light and dark in this photo works very well, the white foamy 'froth' in the forground really contrasts to the sand under it, I like how you can see the small 'streams' that have been carved by the backwash of the waves.

The setting is beautiful and I'm really jealous I wasn't there to take a photo myself! Really well captured, I'd really like to see some more photos like this on DA.
Keep them coming!
:D
