Kinderdijkby ~Chopen

Been out to another part of Dutchland today for a change, Kinderdijk (Heaven for windmill lovers) to be precise. This place seems to be better known amongst Asians than the Dutch themselves because all I saw today were people from China and Japan!

Anyways, the conditions were just perfect and this will be the first of many shots that I'll submit because this seems to be the most recognizable angle. Well, here's my interpretation of the cliche!

Haha dank je wel! Was echt een spontane actie om daar heen te gaan. Het was 5 mei, niks te doen en het weer was wel redelijk. Pas toen ik daar aankwam begon de lucht echt fantastisch te worden

see, you deserved it. I often find nowadays that I don't want to do something, but get rewarded for doing it anyway on the silliest occasions. The other day we ran out of gaz for the BBQ, my husband asked me to pick up another bottle. I had rather stayed home and taken it easy, but I went anyway, not really wanting to. Guess what: I got to see the most BEAUTIFUL sky I'd seen in a looong time!

Yeah there have been too many occasions where I would find myself regretting and cursing that I didn't go out for some shots because I was too lazy. I try to remind myself of all the possible goodness I might miss if I stayed home, but sometimes it's just a bliss to be lazy
