Lost in Paradise

First thing I would have to comment on is the sun. It's a little bright. Applying a gradient filter over it would definitely tone it down and keep the focus on the rest of the image. You placed your friend in a very good spot, however moving slightly left and having him block the sun would have worked too. As for the rest of the photo? It's outstanding! The deep, rich golden tones of the sand are amazing! I love the way the water reflects the clouds and at the same time you can see the sand through as well as see that there is water there. Overall the shot and the exposure are well done. The clouds show a good contrast between the light filled side and the darkened ones nearer to you.
