This shot is taken from Duindorp, Den Haag/The Hague, Netherlands. It's only a few minutes away from my new home and it's typically one of those spots where I can just force out some inspiration even when I feel like shit. FYI, I wasn't feeling like shit when I took this shot, but it was like -1 degree celsius. Brrrrrrrr

perfect is the word for this image! so colorful! the light , the feel, i cant think of anything that seems wrong with this image! The waves, the clouds, sunset. everything is just apt!and the title!
lovely image!

as the other deviants who have critiqued it definitely deserves a 5/5!
I love the tones in this, the deep blues and sandy browns. It looks as though the sand is glistening. deep range of blues coupled with the wispy trails,fine capture!
i want to be at a beach right now. heh.
I think thats about it.

What a stunning photograph! It is difficult to put into words how perfect this photo is, as there is nothing that I can find about it that I would improve.

The height of the sun above the horizon is absolutely perfect, and its placement within the frame draws the eye right away. The setting is also stunning, with light clouds to capture rays above and the sea to reflect rays below. The vignetting is superb, it wonderfully frames the overall shot and helps direct the eye towards the perfectly flaring sun near the center. The overall tone of the photograph is an amazing blend of both warm tones around the sun and its reflection, to cooler tones around the periphery.

Exquisite work! I love photographs of coast lines, and have viewed more than many the past year. This one trumps them all. Thank you very much!
